Blue Ribbon

I submitted one of my “Milky Way Over Cathedral Rock” photos, that I shot in Sedona, back in May, to the photo contest at the Marshfield Fair (in Massachusetts) and it won First Place in the Landscapes category. I have submitted photos to online photo contests in the past but this was the first time I had submitted an actual physical print and I an overjoyed that it did so well. First Place also came with a check for $25, which is nice but the First Place Blue Ribbon is much more valuable to me. I submitted a few other photos in other categories that did not win anything.
