These shots of the Milky Way behind Owachomo Bridge in Natural Bridges National Monument came from a spontaneous trip to the park. A change in plans left me with a couple of free days during a trip to northern Arizona, so I decided to head up to southern Utah and see what I could capture.
I had seen stunning photographs of the Milky Way framed by the bridge and had always wanted to try it myself. It wasn’t the ideal time of year for Milky Way photography, so I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. In the end, I think the shots turned out pretty well!
